(SPOT.ph) Thrillers can send chills down your spine with the right mix of suspense and fear, and a foreign, unfamiliar setting can elevate the whole experience to give you the creeps. Not many have seen the icy landscape of Greenland and while its mountains and snowy terrain can make for a fun winter adventure, it can also give you the shivers. Nuuk, a local film shot in the chilly country that stars Alice Dixson and Aga Muhlach, will hit cinemas October 6.
Mavx Productions announced the film's release date on their Facebook page.
The film follows a woman's descent into madness as she realizes that her version of reality is different from the way other people see it. Nuuk is directed by Veronica "Roni" Velasco and is the first Filipino film to be shot in Greenland. It was produced in cooperation with the Embassy of Denmark.
