(SPOT.ph) Actor Lee Min Ho has been the K-Drama boy of everyone's dreams since 2009's Boys Over Flowers, so we get it if you've been watching every drama he stars in. You last saw him in 2017, when he starred in Legend of the Blue Sea before enlisting in the military. Three years is a long wait, but if you're missing the Hallyu star, you'll be able to see him in The King: Eternal Monarch which will hit Netflix on April 17. It's just four days away, and in the meantime, here's the trailer:
Min Ho plays Emperor Lee Gon who must work with modern-day Seoul detective Jung Tae Eul (played by Goblin's Kim Go Eun) to close the magical portals that connect their worlds in order to maintain balance and order. Aside from your K-Drama faves in the starring roles, the highly anticipated series is also filled with fantasy elements and toys with the idea of alternate selves and realities.
Descendants of the Sun writer Kim Eun Sook and director Baek Sang Hoon worked together on this new drama.Â
