This McDonald's Meal Mockup Featuring Ben&Ben Has Us Dreaming of the Possibilities
Nawa'y di lamang ito kathang-isip.
(SPOT.ph) The BTS McDonald's Meal has finally arrived—and we know you've seen all the reviews, photos, and, of course, the super creative ways ARMY is preserving the limited-edition packaging. Well, it looks like BTS isn't the only musical act getting the attention! One Pinoy student decided to check out what the coveted packaging would be like if it was inspired by one of our own groups: folk band Ben&Ben.
Enter 18-year-old Karr Cedric Camalig, who has pretty much stunned fans of Ben&Ben with his own version of the McDonald's meal. He uploaded an edit of McDonald's packaging—in deep blue with graphics from the band's album and track artworks—to Facebook on June 20. The edit clearly struck a chord with people with around 10,000 shares as of writing.

The Story Behind the Ben&Ben x McDonald's Edit
Camalig, who is a Grade 12 student, shares that he has been a fan of Ben&Ben since 2017. When the buzz around the BTS McDonald's meal popped up, he decided it was the perfect time to combine his editing skills and his passion for Ben&Ben. "Sakto pong bored ako noon," he says cheekily in an online exchange with SPOT.ph. "Tapos uso po 'yong mga mock-up na ganoon, so nag-try lang ako."
It took Camalig around one or two hours to get his design up and ready to go. And as for what the meal will contain? "Kung nuggets po laman noon, baka nine kasi diba nine sila na members," he says, referencing the nine-piece folk band. Then adding a cheeky, "Pero kung ako po papaliin kung ano ilalagay na food, mas fan ako ng burger."
The edit has definitely become incredibly popular and we can only hope McDonald's is taking notes! Ben&Ben's official Facebook page has also taken note of Camalig's work. A post on June 21 celebrating another edit made by a different fan also gave a shout-out to Camalig's version—as well as giving everyone the best chance to make memes.
