LOOK: Julia Barretto Already Has Her Own House at Just 21
It's almost there!
(SPOT.ph) There's a lot you still have to figure out when you're just 21. You've got graduation to look forward to, job-hunting is on the horizon, and you're probably not excited to saying goodbye to your allowance. But Julia Barretto isn't just any 21-year-old. She's already got quite a few blockbuster hits under her belt, including Vince and Kath and James, Love You to the Stars and Back, and Unexpectedly Yours. She's also in the teleserye A Love to Last. She's been hard at work over the past few years and it looks like it's all about to pay off because she's finally getting her own home.
In October last year, she posted a photo of a lot where her home is going to be built. "My future home is now under construction." She thanked God "for another answered prayer," and continues, "This is still so surreal to me." She's always wanted build her own home even when she was younger. "Since I was 18, I was already planning of building a home. But maybe, at the time, I wasn’t really ready yet to do anything," she says in a report by Pep. But she's not going to be that far from her mom Marjorie and her siblings because her new house is just near their family home. "I always tell her that I’m still gonna be in her house every day to eat there," she jokes. She's also looking forward to getting homemaking tips from her mom.
Now, almost half a year later, her dream is getting closer and closer to reality. She shared a photo of the construction site of her new house on her Instagram page yesterday, May 20. She exclaims, "That’s me sitting on the first floor of my almost finished home. It’s getting real..."
While there's still a lot more work to be done, Julia knows what her favorite part of her house is going to be. "I’m so excited for the furniture, for the interior design and everything. But the thing I’m most excited about is my walk-in closet." With her house-planning and another movie lined up for her and (reel-to-real life partner) Joshua Garcia and Kris Aquino called I Love You, Hater, she's sure to be busier than ever.
