Must-Watch Concerts and Theater Shows This April 2026

(SPOT.ph) Summer is here, and we'll take every excuse to point you in the direction of having fun and making memories, either by yourself or with loved ones. What better way to have a blast this month than by watching a theater performance or a concert? As always, there's a rich selection of acts to catch, plenty of which we've listed below.

ENDO is a straight play adaptation of the award-winning 2007 Cinemalaya film, all about the struggle between love, work, and impermanence.

Leo, a young man from a struggling family, never finished school and is forced to get by through a series of contractual jobs. In one of these gigs, he meets Tanya, a spirited woman who introduces him to love and new possibilities. As their relationship grows, Leo begins to long for stability and meaning—but he soon realizes he may not be ready for the kind of permanence that love requires.

ENDO stars Royce Cabrera as Leo and Jasmine Curtis-Smith as Tanya, and is directed by Melvin Lee, adapted for the stage by Liza Magtoto.

This April, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) brings back its month-long theater showcase.

Control + Shift: Changing Narratives returns to the PETA Studio Theater from April 10 to 19, 2026, featuring a “StudioLab” of fresh works and restaged productions. This year’s lineup brings together PETA artists, students, and community partners, with two new pieces developed through the PETA Artist-Teacher Training alongside two returning works from last year’s festival.

As with previous editions, the festival is split into two sets:

Set A: When Power Falls into Our Hands explores how power, when abused, breeds violence, exploitation, and corruption. The lineup includes CLEANERS, directed by Julio Garcia and written by Jhudiel Clare Sosa, as well as a restaging of MONIT-OH! MONIT-AH!, written by Herlyn Alegre and directed by Norbs Portales.

Set B: When Care Becomes Survival, on the other hand, turns to communities shaped by conflict and precarity—where care is not abstract, but lived. Here, it takes form through faith, ritual, play, and the quiet resilience of collective endurance. Set B's lineup includes a restaging of AT NAGKATAWANG-TAO ANG VERBO by Tanghalang Bagong Sibol and BAGA NG GUMUGUHONG LANGIT written by Anj Heruela and directed by Ian Segarra.

Ballet Philippines closes its 56th season with an original full-length ballet entitled Paglalakbay: The Journey of the Sea People, running from April 10 to 12 at The Theatre at Solaire.

Choreographed by Ballet Philippines Artistic Director, Mikhail Martynnyuk, this production traces prehistoric maritime migration that reached the island of Batanes around 3000 BCE. It follows Ama, a visionary who answers the call of the sea to guide his people across vast and uncertain waters.

Catch a special one-weekend-only re-run of Tanghalang Pilipino's Gregoria Lakambini, an all-original P-pop concert retelling the extraordinary life of Gregoria De Jesus. From a young woman in Caloocan to the revered “Lakambini of the Katipunan,” the musical traces Oryang’s rise as she stands beside Andres Bonifacio in love, revolution, and unwavering conviction.

History-meets-theater in this Tanghalang Pilipino musical starring Marynor Madamesila as Gregoria De Jesus. Written by Nicanor Tiongson and Eljay Castro Deldo, music by Nica Del Rosario, Matthew Chang, and Flip Music, and directed by Delphine Buencamino.

Where: Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati

Miranda & Yolanda is a twin bill of Floy Quintos' Palanca-award-winning one-act plays Evening at the Opera and Ang Kalungkutan ng mga Reyna. It's directed by Dexter M. Santos and stars a mix of veteran and new-blood thespian talents, including Sharmaine Buencamino, Ana Abad Santos, Francis Makil-Ignacio, Topper Fabregas, Joshua Cabiladas, and Jules Dela Paz.

The two tragicomedies zoom in on the messy, often uncomfortable dance between people and power. Evening at the Opera peels back the polished façade of Miranda—the perfect trophy wife—her husband Bingo, and her mother, revealing the quiet manipulations and moral rot lurking behind refined manners and closed doors. Meanwhile, Ang Kalungkutan ng mga Reyna follows Yolanda, the country’s woman president, as she carefully curates a larger-than-life persona anchored on her looks—one meant to crown her as the queen she’s always believed herself to be.

Stardew Valley: Festival of Seasons is a one-night-only soundtrack concert at The Theatre at Solaire. This unique concert experience brings the cozy, relaxing charm of the beloved game to life through its music.

This global tour features the score and themes of the crowd-favorite game as performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra, featuring Thanapol Setabrahmana, one of Thailand’s leading young conductors, at the helm.

This show will take fans on a musical trip through the four seasons of the valley, their many side quests and festivals, and the themes behind the storylines of the game's beloved villagers. Expect to hear the music of springtime, a.k.a. The Valley Comes Alive, the Stardew Valley Overture, and our favorite, the hypnotic Dance of the Moonlight Jellies

Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin of P-Pop boy group SB19 are on a roll, taking on the SMDC Festival Grounds for their Wakas At Simula show. It's the finale to their concert trilogy, so if you missed the past shows, now's the time to get a ticket and catch them live. They've come a long way since going viral way back in 2019, and it will be electric to see their growth on stage with their updated discogaphy.

The 10 members of Treasure will return to the Philippines for Pulse On in Manila, which will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. We're pumped to hear the oldies-but-goodies "MMM," "Jikjin," "Boy," along with viral hits "Darari" and "Hello". There's also bound to be new arrangements for their songs, so we hope you're excited to hear familiar tracks in a fresh way.

If you're looking to catch a show featuring local artists and musicians under one roof minus the frills, Minsan Gig is the one. Watch Toneejay, GB Labrador, Tanya Markova, Johnoy Danao, Syd Hartha, and Project: Romeo perform their music live in a laidback setting that's all parts chill and no part hassle. Their seat plan and ticket prices are pretty straightforward, but every seat is a good one in their company.

IVE members Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo are coming to Manila for their second world tour, Show What I Am. They'll be performing songs from their latest comeback, like title track "XOXZ", along with hits like "I AM", "LOVE DIVE", and "After Like". The one thing everyone can't wait for? The solo stages from girls, of course!

XLOV divas Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru are set to return to Manila for their inaugural Asia concert tour. It's their first headlining tour in the region, and we're sure their fans, EVOLs, will be more than ready to sing along and hype them up as they take the UP Theater stage. Their tracks "I'mma Be" and "1&Only" are already dynamic through the screen—we can only imagine how exhilarating it will be to watch them performed live!

After rounds one, two, three, four, and five, the Sexbomb Girls are back for a whopping round six at the SMDC Festival Grounds. Of course, you can expect the same level of energy, theatrics, and drama from the girls who raised a generation of Filipino kings and queens. The outdoor venue has us wishing they'll make the most out of it with fireworks and new production surprises!
