GMANews.tv is reporting that sexy star and 2009 FHM Sexiest Woman in the World Cristine Reyes was stranded on her rooftop and was pleading for rescue. As of 8pm last night (Saturday), the actress, her 18-year old brother and her mother had been stuck on top of their two-storey home for nine hours.
Another young actress, Jennica Garcia, asked for help via phone interview with TV Show Startalk. Their home had been flooded by the rising waters of the Marikina River, which is beside her Quezon City home. She and her family took refuge on the stairs to the third floor.
"Hindi ko na po alam kung kanino hihingi ng tulong pero sana po makapagpadala po ng tulong dito, ng mga rubber boats, hindi lang po para sa amin. Nakikita ko po kasi yung mga kapitbahay namin may dalang bata," Jennica said.
