4 Ways to Be the Life of Every Party
If you really want to make a good impression on everyone.
(SPOT.ph) Ah, Christmas parties—the time to drink, be merry, and the perfect time to cut loose! But if you’d much rather be the life—not the punchline—of the party, here are a couple of ways to go for it.
Go to town with the party's theme.
Go all out and give it the most creative, out of the box spin you possibly can. If the theme is sportswear, dress up as the ball, not the athlete. If it’s a winter wonderland theme, wear all white and stick the sign “I’m a special snowflake” on your forehead. Find the humor in the theme and just run with it. Your costume will make for an awesome conversation starter, too!
Work the room.
Sticking to your own crew is safe, and it’s a surefire way to have fun. But parties are meant to be a great way to meet new people. If you’re not sure how to go about it, bring yourself a wingman or wingwoman, and just say hi. Talk about things you’ll definitely have in common—how you know the host of the party, holiday plans, the traffic, how sucky 2016 was… get creative!
Bring your own soundtrack (or videoke machine.)
It’s not a party without any music! Thanks to the magic of technology, you can simply plug in your smartphone and your party playlists will be blaring out in a few seconds. Safe bets would include the newest hits, pop favorites, or laughable 90’s music. And let’s be honest—no Pinoy can say no to videoke. Plug, play, and break the ice instantly by belting out a boyband hit.
What’s the point of heading out to a party if you’ll be sulking in a corner and nursing the same drink the entire night? Parties are meant for you to let loose, so you’ve got to go out there and go all YOLO.
If you need to build up the courage to set the dance floor on fire, talk to that office crush, or simply want to have fun, GSM blue is the drink that will make you and the party come to life. The entire tropa can drink it in a lot of ways—neat, mixed, or with chaser—and it will still bring the fun out of everyone!
