UPDATED: Charice denies reports on her Glee casting; Inquirer points out manager told them otherwise
UPDATE (May 26, 2:36 p.m.): In an article posted today, May 26, at 2:08 p.m., Inquirer.net reported singer Charice Pempengco's tweets, but maintained that her Philippine manager Grace Mendoza told the Philippine Daily Inquirer Entertainment section about Pempengco being cast on Glee.
Pempengco denied that she was cast as a regular in the second season of hit U.S. TV musical, Glee, reports ABS-CBNNews.com. "I just want to let you all know that it's not true that I'm going to be on Glee. How I wish! Haha... I didn't know about Glee until I saw Perez [Hilton]'s blog. This is really confusing," Charice tweeted.
Famed showbiz blogger Perez Hilton cited a report from Inquirer.net which is no longer available online, but Charice-ChastersWorld.ning.com and Glee_TV Community LiveJournal posted supposed copies of the article. Charice' Philippine manager, Mendoza allegedly told Inquirer.net, "Yes, it's true, Charice will soon join Glee, not just as a guest, but as part of the cast in a new season."

Mendoza "had no idea," Charice quoted her mother, Raquel Pempengco, on Twitter. "Maybe my handler is confused," Charice tweeted.
Perez Hilton blogged an update: "Unfortunately, her manager, Marc Johnston, has not [confirmed the news] and we're told there is no truth to her appearing on Glee."
