Minny Pacquiao the cartoon teaches Pinoy culture on Youtube

Impersonator Minny Pacquiao, the "shortest biggest fan" of world boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, now has a cartoon version, reports ABS-CBNNews.com.

Minny Pacquiao the Cartoon

The cartoon series, which is available on YouTube, teaches Filipino-Americans the Pinoy history and traditions. On his June 12 debut, Minny the Cartoon talked about Independence Day in a one-and-a-half-minute video.

With the real-life Minny Pacquiao a.k.a. Erick Esteban, Rice Cookers Studio’s Tim Saguinsing created Minny the Cartoon. "I have a 21-month-old son and I want to make sure that he has content out there, that as he is growing up, he’ll know his culture as opposed to when I was growing up." Esteban is also the brains behind online comics, The Barriors (from the words barrio and warriors). He created the Peapod Fundraisers animation for Filipino-American Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas.
