Move over Madonna! This "Princess of Reinvention" may give you a run for your money. Cinderella goes Asian courtesy of the Theater Down South. The Princess and The Red Carp--a Chinese version of the well-loved fairytale, Cinderella--opens on August 22 at the Insular Life Theater, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa and runs until September 19. 2. GO TOWARD THE GREEN LIGHT.

It’s a green light for the CAMPI 3rd Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) from August 19 to 22 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. 3. WATCH PINOYS ROCK IT ON STAGE.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines Tanghalang Pilipino and The National Commission for Culture and the Arts unleashes "Banaag at Sikat: Isang Rock Musical" directed by Jose Estrella. This purely Pinoy musical, based on a novel by Lope K. Santos, is set to rock the stage from August 18 to 22 and 25 to 29 at the CCP Little Theater (also known as Tanghalang Aurelio V. 4. RUN FOR SMILES.

Sign up for  Miles for Smiles: Run for Cleft Care and give children with cleft lip and cleft palate reasons to smile. The run is scheduled on August 22, 5 a.m. at the Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The running events include 400m (for ten years old and below), 3K, 5K, 10K, and 16K runs for the individual category; and 10K or 16K for the group category. 5. MIX IT UP.
