TV Patrol World video: Glee cast members praise Charice
Following Glee star Lea Michele’s praises for the show’s guest star Charice Pempengco, three other cast members of the Emmy-nominated musical TV series have also complemented the Pinay singing prodigy, reports ABS-CBNNews.com, citing reports from the ABS-CBN North America News Bureau and Reuters.
Amber Riley, who plays diva Mercedes Jones, said during the recent 62nd Emmy Awards, "She’s so sweet. I love Charice. She has an amazing, amazing voice." Harry Shum Jr. who plays dancer Mike Chang a.k.a. "the other Asian," said, "She’s great. People forget that outside of her being able to sing, she’s an incredible performer. She loves to dance. It’s a little funny talking to her because we talk about dance, and she always shows me her moves."
"Amazing" and "adorable" was how Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang) described Charice. "I don’t know how a big voice like that can come out of such a little girl." Charice will portray a Filipino exchange student in the second season of Glee, which starts on September 21 on Fox.
