September 10 declared a non-working holiday

Malacañang has declared September 10 a regular non-working holiday in observance of the end of Ramadan, the Muslims’ holy month of fasting, reports Inquirer.net. According to Proclamation No. 26, the holiday observing the Feast of Ramadan or Eid’l Fitr was declared "to promote cultural understanding and integration."
