The ’O’zapfn’--the ceremonial tapping of the first keg--will be done by City Mayor Antonino Calixto on Friday, October 15 and by His Excellency the Ambassador of Germany, Christian-Ludwig Weber-Lortsch on Saturday, October 16.
The Gunther Friedmann band from Germany will provide music during the 3-day party.
A festive beer-garden setting with authentic Oktoberfest tables and benches will be set up and the spread will include fresh roasted pork knuckles, laugen rolls, grilled sausages and mouth-watering pastries, with free-flowing ice cold beer. The Gunther Friedmann band from Germany will also keep guests singing and dancing. On Sunday, magicians, face painters and uni-cyclists will be around during Sunday Brunch at Sofitel's luxurious poolside.
