Sharon Cuneta and Aga Muhlach reconcile; Cuneta says, "I can never not forgive Aga"
Veteran actors Sharon Cuneta and Aga Muhlach, who have been friends for seven years, have reconciled their differences, Cuneta said in a PEP.ph report. The Megastar said Muhlach went to her house in Mandaluyong on November 27 to talk. "Apologies (were) exchanged and accepted... I can never not forgive Aga."
The public got a whiff of the two friends’ "tampuhan" during Ai-Ai delas Alas’ concert last month, when Cuneta joked that she did not know Muhlach. According to PEP.ph, she admitted having an issue with Muhlach but claimed that what she said at the concert was in the spirit of fun.
The Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo wrote last week, "When all is said and done, the bone of contention between Sharon Cuneta and her still-friend Aga Muhlach is her being, uhm, healthy, that's why she and Aga won't be credible in a romance-drama-comedy as follow-up to Kung Ako Na Lang Sana, their first starrer together... It turned out that Sharon was harboring some ’tampong kaibigan’ against Aga who she felt ’rejected’ (oops! Sharon found those words hurting and insulting) her in his quiet refusal to do another movie with her."
Asked the past weekend if she and Muhlach have upcoming projects together, Cuneta said she would rather not talk about the issue in the meantime. However, she said they are still friends.
