Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie donate $2 million to African wildlife sanctuary
Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $2 million to the Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary in Namibia, where they spent the past Christmas with their children. Through the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, the couple made the donation in the name of their Namibia-born daughter Shiloh, reports the AP.
"We want her (Shiloh) to be very involved and grow up with the understanding of her country of birth," the AP quoted Jolie’s statement released Monday. "We continue to be impressed by their (the owners of the sanctuary) hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia."
