Azkals captain Aly Borromeo in talks with 2 Indonesian football clubs for possible deal
TV Patrol World report
Azkals captain Aly Borromeo has told Inquirer.net that two Indonesian football clubs have contacted him for a possible deal to join the Indonesian Premiere League. The football player said he is "still negotiating" with Semarang United and the Medan Chiefs, Inquirer.net reported on Wednesday.
"If the league is a go and the offer is something I can’t refuse then I’ll do it for a few years." Borromeo, 27, is currently playing for Kaya FC in the United Football League, according to Inquirer.net.
He has been invited to try out with a few English teams but he told Inquirer.net that he is intrigued by the offer from Indonesia since the "money is better." TV Patrol World reports that football players in Indonesia are said to be paid as much as the Philippine Basketball Association "superstars."
If Borromeo decides to accept Indonesia’s offer, he will still prioritize playing for the Azkals, according to TV Patrol World.
