Heart Evangelista trades roles with Lovi Poe in Temptation Island supposedly due to an "uncomfortable" scene
Heart Evangelista has reportedly switched roles with Lovi Poe in the remake of the campy classic Temptation Island directed by the late Joey Gosiengfiao. PEP.ph reports that Evangelista was "uncomfortable" about filming a certain scene, and that Poe supposedly did not mind the switch because they are friends.
Poe will now play the role of a socialite originally portrayed by Jennifer Cortez, while Evangelista will play the college student previously portrayed by Dina Bonnevie. Both characters are beauty pageant contestants who hallucinate after getting stranded on an island.
Joining them are Marian Rivera, who will reprise the con artist role of Azenith Briones; Solenn Heussaff, who will play the social climber originally portrayed by Bambi Arambulo; Rufa Mae Quinto, the maid Deborah Sun; and John Lapus, the gay pageant coordinator. Aljur Abrenica, Paulo Avelino and Tom Rodriguez are the leading men cast in the film. The film, directed by Chris Martinez, will start shooting next month.
