Charice filming Hollywood movie Here Comes the Boom with Salma Hayek?
(SPOT.ph) International singing sensation Charice is rumored to be filming her second Hollywood movie, Here Comes the Boom, starring Salma Hayek, reports ABS-CBN News.
Citing the Internet Movie Database, the report said Charice supposedly plays the role of Malia in the action-comedy film which will be released next year. Included in the cast are Kevin James (Grown Ups, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry), Henry Winkler (Click, Arrested Development) and Joe Rogan (Fear Factor). According to the site, the film is directed by The Wedding Singer director Frank Coraci.
According to ABS-CBN News, Charice’ mother Raquel Pempengco sent them an online article about the movie, which is a story about a music teacher (James) that turns to cage fighting for the prize money to keep his school’s music program financially afloat. However, Pempengco did not officially confirm her daughter’s involvement in the project.
Meanwhile, Examiner.com reports that Charice was spotted on the set of the movie in Boston the past weekend.
In 2009, Charice appeared as herself in the animated comedy Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She currently guest stars in the hit musical TV series Glee as the Filipino exchange student Sunshine Corazon.
