PNoy’s sisters deny accusations he’s coddling KKKs (Kaibigan, Kaklase, Kabarilan)
(SPOT.ph) President Noynoy Aquino's sisters came to his defense after Ang Galing Pinoy Representative Mikey Arroyo blamed the President's dipping satisfaction rating on alleged preferential treatment for his "KKKs" or kaibigan, kaklase at kabarilan, reports ABS-CBN News. Aquino's satisfaction rating went down five points from +51 in March to +46 this June.
His sisters, Pinky Aquino-Abellada and TV host-actress Kris Aquino, however, believe the President does not condone mistakes in his administration. "Nandoon kami sa [Bahay] Pangarap, it was a Sunday, may pinatawag na opisyales (We were in Bahay Pangarap on a Sunday and he called an official), harsh and stern words were exchanged. But you don't have to make that public," the actress said. Pinky, meanwhile, said, "Si Noynoy hindi masigaw na tao (He doesn’t yell). He will not reprimand you in public. Sometimes Noynoy is too polite."
Kris likened Noynoy’s governance to their mom, the late President Corazon Aquino. "That's also the leadership of my mom. How can you expect people to have confidence in the people you've appointed kung ikaw mismo pinapakita mo na hindi ka bilib sa kanila (if you do not trust them yourself?)." Recalling the time the President disapproved of her personal choices and cut communication with her for seven years, she added, "Kung sa sariling kapatid niya ganoon na, what more 'di ba (If he can do that to his own sister, what more to his administration)?"
