Is P-Noy eyeing radio DJ Grace Lee?
(SPOT.ph) During the inauguration of the 200-megawatt coal-fired power plant built by the Korean Electric Power Corp. (Kepco) in Naga City, Cebu, yesterday, President Noynoy Aquino complimented one of the event’s hosts, radio DJ Grace Lee, reports GMA News.
"I thought she's Pinay, but she is Korean. Even the Koreans here are beautiful," Aquino said about the 28-year-old Lee during his speech. Aquino also praised Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia for "looking even more beautiful every time (he) visits Cebu."
"Kailangan buhayin na ang Malacañang de Sugbu. Baka dito na rin tayo magkatuluyan (We should revive the Malacañang in Sugbu, we might fall in love here)," he said, referring to the official presidential residence in the Central Philippines.
Lee and Aquino were introduced to each other after the ceremony. In an interview with 24 Oras, Lee said she was flattered by the president's comments. "It's no big deal... I was very flattered so I thank Mr. President for saying that about me," she said. Lee has been linked to James Yap, the estranged husband of Aquino's sister, talk show host-actress Kris Aquino.
