The Asian Food Channel launches search for Asia’s next celebrity chef
Do you have what it takes to be Asia’s next culinary star?
The Asian Food Channel (AFC) is looking for Asia’s next culinary star. From August 3 to 16, the AFC will be holding auditions in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore to find the next chef worthy to be crowned "AFC's Next Celebrity Chef" via the channel’s first-ever reality TV contest.
The rigorous competition will be aired in the eight-part series E&O Search for AFC's Next Celebrity Chef and the top 12 finalists will be unveiled in its premiere episode. Tablescapes host and Chef’s Table chef Bruce Lim, Chef's Tales author Michael Saxon, as well as other international celebrity chefs, will serve as judges. The winner will receive a one-year contract with the network as well as the opportunity to be the creative director and head of research and development for the E&O Gourmet Group.
