PRC revokes Hayden Kho’s medical license
(SPOT.ph) Two years after the heat of Hayden Kho Jr.’s sex video scandal, the Professional Regulation Committee has officially revoked the surgeon’s medical license, reports Saksi. Kho’s medical practice was stopped in November 2009 at the request of actress Katrina Halili, one of Kho’s sexual partners whom he filmed allegedly without consent.
The PRC said that Kho was guilty of immorality and unethical conduct-a verdict that the former doctor is having difficulty accepting. "It is difficult to accept and it’s painful because I’m losing my medical license not because of my lack of knowledge or skills or even lack of dedication to my profession," Kho said in a statement.
Kho’s lawyers, meanwhile, are seeking to appeal the court’s decision. In an ABS-CBN report dated Nov. 24, 2009, lawyer Pharson Mamalo said Kho can take the case to the Supreme Court if he wants to. In the meantime, Kho is busying himself with the fragrance company he launched after his license was first revoked.
