No nega vibes here: Juana Change parties with kids in her new Christmas video.
Juana Change’s Pasko 2011 video
(SPOT.ph) A departure from her usual slew of critical and controversial videos, the latest video from Mae Paner (aka Juana Change) shows her partying with kids from different sectors of society whom she met from going around Metro Manila schools: kids of OFWs, a child of an organic farmer, children whose parents have recently lost their jobs, a young girl who admits to being a bully and a little boy who introduces himself as "Dariel, may pusong babae."
Juana Change turns the spotlight on the kids who tell her of their happier memories of Christmas. Juana Change concludes, "kahit hindi pantay-pantay ang ulam, pero pantay-pantay ang saya." In true child-like fashion, the young kids speak with easy candor and share their wishes for their families this season: clothes, good health, and for their family to be complete "para salo-salo kami sa Pasko."
Paner told SPOT.ph,"Pag Pasko, we noticed ang hina ng hits namin! Walang gustong manuod ng nega! Why don’t we do something positive this time? We hope to continue our advocacy of genuine change through the authentic call and voice of our youth. Ito ang aming pamaskong handog para sa bawat Pilipino."
"For once, ay hindi sa aking bibig naririnig ang mga isyu kundi sa mga kabataan. Pero syempre dahil kay GMA at Corona, meron pa rin kaming pangkurot ngayong Pasko: ang "little girl and her crown," she adds.
