Hayden Kho says he and Vicki Belo aren’t fighting about Nancy Castiglione; His plea to the public: "Keep your jokes to yourself"

(SPOT.ph - UPDATE No. 3, 8:54 p.m., February 10) Could trouble be brewing between beauty mogul Vicki Belo and her longtime beau Hayden Kho? We have to admit that when this story first broke out, we couldn’t believe that the couple-whose relationship already weathered a major upheaval in 2009 (Hayden Cam, anyone?)-would have a spat of sorts on, of all places, Twitter.

The controversial couple, who have been together for over five years, announced their engagement in June 2011. However, there hasn’t been any news about their wedding plans.

Around noon today, February 10, Belo posted a tweet saying "nancycastilogne (sic) you can now openly date @haydenjr. You have my blessings. Hope you’ll both be happy." Thirty minutes later, Kho also tweeted: "Before things go out of hand: Vicki and I are just having a misunderstanding. Don’t make conclusions. There’s infidelity issue here." Later on Kho corrected his tweet, posting, "I meant NO infidelity issue."

Kho’s next tweets confirmed that the woman that Belo referred to in her tweet is indeed actress Nancy Castiglione, who has also reinvented herself as a singer called "Nancy Jane." She was last reported to be involved with businessman Nacho Dominguez, the father of her twin sons.

We’ve consolidated Kho’s follow-up tweets, in which he says: "I’d like to appeal to everyone to please hold your judgement. There has been a misunderstanding and it’s gone out of proportion.I feel that the public doesn’t have to get involved in this but since names have to be cleared and this issue involves the welfare of two innocent toddlers, I will have to speak out my piece, but at the right time. Thank you."

However, a few minutes after that, Kho began to tweet again. This time, it seemed like he was composing a statement. He wrote: "First off, I’d like to make it very clear that Vicki and I are not fighting because of Nancy. I have already apologized to Nancy for getting her name dragged into this minor bump in my relationship (with) Vicki. This issue stemmed not from facts, not rumors; but from mindless and loveless faultfinding wc occasionally happens when two people have a disagreement."

He then tweeted a message for the public: "I understand that some will have (the) urge to comment in jest or mockery to flame (the) issue; but I appeal (to you) to keep (your) jokes (to yourself)." He also pointed out: "There is NO issue of infidelity here. As a matter of fact, Vicki (and I) have been doing very well in our relationship."

In closing, he declared his love for Belo: "And finally, since this is already public, I might as well say this in public, @vicki_belo, I love you. Let’s all have a happy Valentine’s Day on the 14th. And yes, I love you more than Temple Run." By "Temple Run," Kho is referring to a game.

As of 8:54 p.m. today, February 1o, Belo has not yet posted another tweet.
