Ram Revilla-Janelle Manahan sex video still sold by bootleg DVD vendors; Police still haven’t identified who leaked the video

Interaksyon.com reports that joint operating teams of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group's (CIDG) Women and Children Protection Division (WCPD) and Detection and Special Operations Division (DSOD) raided several stalls in a commercial complex in Cainta, Rizal on Wednesday, February 22. They arrested five suspects selling pirated DVDs including the alleged Ram Revilla-Janelle Manahan sex video.

The report cited WCPD chief Police Supt. Emma Libunao, who revealed that "the CIDG-WCPD's aggressive campaign to confiscate the alleged sex video of Revilla and Manahan is being carried out following the request of the latter through her counsel, Atty. Argee Guevarra, to run after the people who are responsible for the distribution and selling of the offensive material."

The authorities are still trying to to pin down whoever leaked the video in the first place. The report noted that the CIDG and the WCPD has already conducted several other raids in the hope of stopping bootleg DVD vendors from peddling more copies of the Revilla-Manahan video.
