Ever Gotesco Grand Central fire lasts more than 20 hours; 17 firefighters hurt while trying to put out blaze

According to the report, at least 17 firefighters (volunteers and members of the Bureau of Fire Protection) "sustained minor injuries" while attempting to contain the blaze.

 

ABS-CBNNews.com quoted Caloocan Vice Mayor Edgar Erice, who said "he had long complained about the 30-year-old building whose hallways were allowed to host kiosks made of combustible materials."
