Last month, Styleite.com writer Verena von Pfetten wrote about The World’s Most Fashionable Prison, a documentary directed by Chun Kit Mark. It featured Pinoy designer Puey Quinones and prison inmates whom he was teaching the trade. Von Pfetten wrote: "For three years in a row, Quinones has been ’teaching male prisoners convicted of rape, murder, and [kidnapping] how to create gowns and accessories to be worn on the runway by professional model.’ And while some once called him ’the next John Galliano,’ early (in 2011), Quinones was busted for sewing a fake label into a suit he'd been commissioned to design."
