InterAksyon.com reports: "Former President Joseph Estrada said the United Nationalist Alliance will tackle [on] Monday (June 11) the letter-request to him of Sen. Aquilino ’Koko’ Pimentel III for the Binay-led UNA to drop former Senator Juan Miguel ’Migz’ Zubiri from the senatorial slate of the coalition for 2013."

The report went on to cite Pimentel’s letter to Estrada, wherein the senator said he "cannot run with Zubiri in the same senatorial ticket for various strong reasons." InterAksyon.com noted that Pimentel felt that Zubiri had "clearly enjoyed the fruits of election fraud." InterAksyon.com got a copy of the said letter, which was dated May 21, 2012, on Thursday, June 7.

However, as the report revealed, Estrada is all for giving Zubiri the "benefit of the doubt." The report quoted the former president, who said, "Kung kasama sa nandaya si Migz, dapat kasama siya sa kinasuhan, eh, hindi naman eh (If Migz really orchestrated the cheating then he should have been charged, too. But he wasn’t)."
