FEU imposes additonal game ban on UAAP basketball player Arvie Bringas, who spat on an Ateneo player

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the Far Eastern University (FEU) Athletic Department has sanctioned the Tamaraws’ Arvie Bringas after the forward was thrown out of their game against the Ateneo Blue Eagles last Wednesday, August 29.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the Far Eastern University (FEU) Athletic Department has sanctioned the Tamaraws’ Arvie Bringas after the forward was thrown out of their game against the Ateneo Blue Eagles last Wednesday, August 29.

 

 

The report revealed: "Bringas was assessed two unsportsmanlike fouls in the Tamaraws’ game against Ateneo, which they lost 64-77. In the final quarter, Bringas was caught spitting towards Ateneo's Justin Chua, leading the referee to assess him with a disqualifying foul and throw him out of the playing court."

 

The report also quoted UAAP Commissioner Ato Badolato, who confirmed that Bringas will be suspended for FEU’s next two games: on September 2 (against the National University Bulldogs) andSeptember 8 (against the University of the East Red Warriors).
