ABS-CBNNews.com, citing information from Korina Sanchez’s dzMM program, reports that a woman Sony Lopez Gonzales claims that her grandson was threatened by his classmate’s father. Last August 30, the man allegedly got into school premises, sought out her grandson, and then pointed a gun at the boy’s head.
Â
The report noted: "Gonzales said the gun-pointing incident started after her grandson punched another student. She said her grandson only punched the student after reaching his limits due to the latter’s alleged bullying. She said the incident was witnessed by several faculty members since it happened inside the school’s faculty room." Gonzales related: "[Ang sabi ng tatay (The classmate’s father said)], ’You’re the boy that hit my boy?’ Tapos sinuntok na siya (Then he punched my grandson). He kept insulting him. In the meantime ang apo ko apologize nang apologize (my grandson kept apologizing). Paulit-ulit [sinasabi ng tatay] (The classmate’s dad kept asking my grandson), ’Do you want me to shoot you? Do you want me to shoot you?’"

According to the report, DzMM called the school administration for comment, but it declined to be interviewed.
