GMA News Online, citing information from dzBB, reports that on Wednesday, October 10, taxi driver Pepito Sumalinog brought back boxer Denver Cuello’s World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight title belt to the dzBB office. Cuello had left a bag inside the cab that Sumalinog was driving on Monday night, October 8. The WBC belt was inside the said bag.

The report noted: "Cuello and his two companions had asked to be brought to the Sta. Lucia East area
It was only when Sumalinog was near the Philcoa area that he realized the bag had been left behind at the back of the cab. He opted to bring the bag home with him as it was already nearing midnight at the time. The next day, he learned of Cuello’s problem on the early TV news."
