Former actress Dindi Gallardo sues Batman: The Dark Knight Rises comicbook writer Frank Miller and his girlfriend for discrimination

ABS-CBNNews.com, citing information from Monings@ANC, reports that former beauty queen-actress Dindi Gallardo is suing her former boss comic-book writer Frank Miller and his girlfriend, Kimberly Cox for "discrimination and mental anguish."

 

ABS-CBNNews.com, citing information from Monings@ANC, reports that former beauty queen-actress Dindi Gallardo is suing her former boss comic-book writer Frank Miller and his girlfriend, Kimberly Cox for "discrimination and mental anguish." Miller is known as the author of graphic novels-turned-movies such as Sin City, 300, and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.

 

The report noted: "Gallardo, who had worked as Miller’s executive coordinator, claimed she was put through hell by Cox. She said that in July 2010, Cox smeared her work area with feces, destroyed her printer with a hammer, threw phones at her, even and left a used sanitary napkin on her desk. She also added that Cox mocked the way she talked saying she had a funky accent."


A Manila Bulletin Online article by NR Ramos noted: "Gallardo was the Philippines’ representative in the 1993 Miss Universe pageant held in Mexico. She went on to appear in a slew of local films prior to migrating to the US in 2003.  The 41-year-old married restaurant consultant Eric Mills last year."
