At least 179 and up to 200 members of the House of Representatives are expected to go to Malacañang today, December 3, to meet with President Benigno Aquino III on the Reproductive Health bill.

Charissa Luci of the Manila Bulletin reports members of the House will meet with the President over lunch to ask for a "strong, direct, and unequivocal" support for the bill. If the President certifies passage of the RH bill urgent, as he did with the Sin Tax bill last month, the House can put the bill to a vote by Monday, the report said.

According to the report, House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II said "at least 179 of our colleagues confirmed their attendance to the Speaker (Feliciano 'Sonny' Belmonte Jr.) that they would come to Malacañang. We are still counting and we expect 200 plus lawmakers to see the President."
