Airport taxi driver returns ₱300,000 left behind by passenger

Raoul Esperas of ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Joseph Taduran, a 51-year-old airport taxi driver, "returned a clutch bag containing ₱300,000 in foreign currencies accidentally left behind by his passenger."

Raoul Esperas of ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Joseph Taduran, a 51-year-old  airport taxi driver, "returned a clutch bag containing ₱300,000 in foreign currencies accidentally left behind by his passenger." The report revealed that Taduran "was on duty early January 13 when passenger Juan Manantan boarded his cab at the arrival area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1."

 

The report noted that "Taduran immediately told airport action officer Danny Chua about the bag, which resulted in identifying its owner." Manantan has since claimed his bag and its contents and was said to have offered ₱3,000 as a token of his appreciation for Taduran’s honesty.
