Presidential Security Group member accused of punching his girlfriend already fired; Incident happened "on Malacañang grounds"

Dexter San Pedro of InterAksyon.com reports that on Sunday, May 26, Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander Brig. Gen. Ramon Dizon revealed that 29-year-old Jober Babaran, who used to be with the PSG bomb squad was relieved after he was "charged in court for punching his girlfriend was relieved from his post in the same month that the incident happened on Malacañang grounds."

Ramon Dizon revealed that 29-year-old Jober Babaran, who used to be with the PSG bomb squad was relieved after he was "charged in court for punching his girlfriend was relieved from his post in the same month that the incident happened on Malacañang grounds." The said incident happened in January.

 

The report noted: "Babaran’s girlfriend, Rose Marie Adalig, claimed she was punched in the face by Babaran when she tried to break off with him after learning that he was already married with two children. Babaran was charged with violating the Anti-Violence Against Women And Their Children Law before a regional trial court  in Manila."

 

The report added: "Last week, two other PSG members were also arrested for allegedly robbing a car supply shop in Quezon City and violating the elections gun ban."
