Another MRT death: Man sleeping on tracks hit by train

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Sunday, June 2, "an MRT train hit a man between the Taft and Magallanes stations in Pasay City." The report noted: "The accident took place at 5 a.m. when the railway system was starting its morning operations. This temporarily hampered train operations from Boni to Taft stations."

Reporter Dennis Datu of dzMM revealed that the dead man was believed to have been a vagrant who had somehow managed to break into the station. Authorities are still trying to determine the man’s identity, as well as tarying to figure out how he managed to get into the station in the first place.
