School principal shot dead in Kalinga

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the principal of a public high school was shot dead near his house in Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City in Kalinga by an unidentified assailant.

According to the report, "the victim, identified as Alvino Lupnacan, supposedly went out of his house to go to take a bath when an unidentified suspect shot him." He was immediately brought to the Almora General Hospital for the treatment of the gunshot wound in his right chest "but he was declared dead on arrival." The report added that authorities are still investigating the motive behind the killing of Lupnacan, the principal of Cawagayan National High School.
