Star Wars creator George Lucas marries long-time girlfriend

Reuters reports (via InterAksyon.com) that Star Wars creator George Lucas, 69, married long-time girlfriend Mellody Hobson, 44, last Sunday, June 23, at his Skywalker ranch in California.

According to the report, the wedding was "officiated by U.S. journalist Bill Moyers and was attended by friends and family including fellow filmmakers Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola." Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington and musician Van Morrison were also present at the occasion.

The marriage is Lucas' second and Hobson's first. The filmmaker was previously married to film editor Marcia Griffin, with whom he has three adopted children.
