Baby kidnapped in Mandaluyong recovered in Camarines Sur
The suspect claimed to bring the baby to an audition for a milk brand model but did not return.
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Camarines Sur police rescued on Tuesday, July 9, a baby who was abducted in Mandaluyong by a woman who volunteered to make her a commercial model for a milk brand.
According to the report, police found the three-month old baby girl at a house owned by the live-in partner of the suspect identified as Lovelyn Casipe in Barangay Mangogon, Lagonoy town. Casipe was positively identified by a concerned citizen who saw the artist's sketch of her released by the authorities. The chief of Mandaluyong Police said Casipe asked the baby's mother, "Anne," on Saturday if she could bring the infant to an audition for models for a milk brand. Anne agreed to give the baby to Casipe but did not accompany them to the audition.
The mother only alerted the authorities about the abduction after Casipe failed to return the baby to her by 5.p.m. that day.
