U.S. man gets credited with over $92 quadrillion by PayPal by mistake
He was temporarily richer than Bill Gates.
Inquirer.net reports that a public relations executive in the United States momentarily became $92 quadrillion richer after PayPal accidentally credited to his online account.
According to the report, which originally appeared on CNN, Chris Reynolds "saw the $92,233,720,368,547,800 credit in his emailed statement of account for the month of June from PayPal." But when he checked his account online, the credit was already gone and "the balance was brought back to $0, the correct amount." PayPal then apologized to Reynolds for the error.
