Bong Revilla offers to waive his talent fee if he gets to play executive minister Eduardo Manalo in Iglesia ni Cristo documentary

He offered his services even if INC hasn’t tapped him for the project.'s Ernie Reyes reports that actor and lawmaker Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. will appear for free as Iglesia ni Cristo’s (INC) executive minister, Eduardo Villanueva Manalo in a film produced by the large religious sect.


The report explained that Revilla, who has been rumoured to run for president in 2016, has offered his services for free to portray "Ka Eddie" in the documentary "Sugo." The film, which will be released in time for the church's centennial celebration next year, centers on INC founder Felix Manalo's struggles in establishing the church and its evolution to become one of the Philippines' largest religious denominations.


Aside from Revilla, other actors who have been cast in the film include actress and congresswoman Lani Mercado as Ka Eddie's wife Lynn Ventura and Albert Martinez as Ka Eddie's father, Ka Erdy Manalo. Richard Gomez will play the role of INC founder Ka Felix Manalo.
