Police say ad executive Kae Davantes was possibly abducted in Las Piñas, not along C5 road
In the CCTV footage, she seemed appeared relaxed inside her car.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer's Jaymee Gamil reports that the police are now looking at Las Piñas as the possible site where advertising executive Kristelle "Kae" Davantes was abducted after reviewing security camera footage showing her driving along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on the night she was last seen alive.
The report explained that a CCTV footage submitted by the Muntinlupa police to the task force assigned to handle the case "showed Davantes in her Toyota Altis exiting the C5 tollgate toward South Luzon Expressway at 1:19 a.m. and exiting at 1:31 a.m. at Filinvest heading toward Alabang-Zapote Road on Sept. 7." Muntinlupa City police chief Senior Supt. Roque Vega said "Davantes was alone in the car and appeared relaxed."
Vega added that the video clip was "a big breakthrough for the investigation" because it confirmed that Davantes was not abducted on C5 road, as the police originally thought. The advertising manager for the McCann Worldgroup was found dead in Cavite a few weeks ago, hours after she was last seen with friends at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.
