QC Mayor Herbert Bautista wants to restore President Elpidio Quirino’s house in Novaliches
It’s a project that’s worth considering.
Rio N. Araja of Manila Standard Today reports that "the Quezon City government plans to restore an old house in Novaliches belonging to the late President Elpidio Quirino."
The report noted: "Quirino is the sixth president of the Philippines. He first took over when President Manuel Roxas died in office in 1948. Then, he was elected to his own term in 1949 and served until 1953."
Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista added that aside from Quirino’s house, he is also mulling "the preservation of other ancestral houses of great politicians of the city."
