OneRepublic is coming to Manila to perform their signature brand of pop rock and ballads.

Where: Smart Araneta Coliseum
What to expect: Crowd sing-alongs of OneRepublic hits like "Apologize," "Stop and Stare," and "Secrets."

What: Janet Napoles ordered to appear at Senate Hearing
Alleged mastermind of the multi-billion peso pork barrel scam Janet Lim Napoles will face off with whistleblower Benhur Luy at the Senate Blue Ribbon committee hearing.

Where: Senate session hall
What to expect: A lot of stonewalling and grandstanding.





What: Close Up Forever Summer
Close Up is throwing the freshest beach party in the city with non-stop music by local favorites Taken By Cars, Aia De Leon, Nights of Rizal and DJs Ace Ramos and Mars Miranda, as well as performances by international artists Foxes and Swedish DJ duo Rebecca and Fiona.

What to expect: A beach party vibe complete with pools and cabanas.

What: Miss Universe 2013 Pageant
Social gaffes aside, we’re sure a lot of people are rooting for Laguna native Ariella Arida to win the crown and bring pride to our country when she competes in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.
When: November 9
Where: Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia
What to expect: Beauties from 86 countries parading around in sexy swimsuits and glamorous evening gowns. Oh, and we look forward to the suspenseful Question and Answer portion.
Miss Universe 2013 will be televised in ABS-CBN (November 10, 9 a.m.), Star World (November 10, 2 a.m. with encore telecast at 9 a.m.), and Velvet (November 10, 2 a.m. with primetime telecast at 7 p.m.)
