ABS-CBNNews.com reports that former First Lady and current Ilocos Norte representative Lady Imelda Marcos has been confined at St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City since Saturday (November 2) due to a rise in her blood sugar levels.

According to the report, Marcos "asked to be admitted to the hospital to control her blood sugar" after she experienced fatigue upon returning to Manila from a lengthy road trip to Ilocos Norte. The Marcos family has denied the former first lady suffered a stroke. Her media consultant, meanwhile, declined to comment on her current condition.
