P-Noy slams local officials for "lack of preparation," says he won’t leave Tacloban until he’s satisfied with progress
This is another kind of typhoon.
ABS-CBN’s Bandila reports that President Noynoy Aquino has said that he won’t leave Tacloban until he’s satisfied with the progress of the relief efforts there. Pundits point out that Aquino seems to be blaming Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez for his alleged "lack of preparations" for Typhoon Yolanda. Reports took note of the fact that at a press conference held in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Aquino had praised the municipality’s mayor and then made some seemingly non-specific remarks about local officials who didn’t know what their respective areas needed. But then everyone could guess who he was referring to.
Aquino had said, "Bilang Pangulo n’yo, bawal ho ako magalit.
