Erap Estrada points out that he’s just like Andres Bonifacio
This is the best joke we’ve heard all week.
ABS-CBNnews.com reports: "Former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph "Erap" Estrada likened himself to Andres Bonifacio as he marked the hero’s 150th birth anniversary at the Bonifacio Shrine in Manila on Saturday, November 30."
In his speech, Estrada then enumerated his similarities with Bonifacio:
1. They were both born in Tondo, Manila.
2. They were also both actors during their time-he’s best known for starring in the Asiong Salonga films, while Bonifacio took part in stage plays as folk hero Bernardo Carpio.
3. They had the same fate as leaders-Estrada was deposed from presidency in 2001 and Bonifacio, the supreme leader or "supremo" of the Katipunan movement, was also deposed in 1897, arrested, convicted, and assassinated.
