Another Philippine island’s about to get lots of international airtime.
After Caramoan, it's Cagayan's time to shine.
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the latest installment of the popular reality competition Survivor, set in Cagayan province, is set to premiere in February 2014.
The report, which was based on an article posted on the Entertainment Weekly website, said Survivor: Cagayan will feature 18 contestants who will be divided into three tribes: one of beauty, one of brains and one of brawn. The show was filmed earlier this year in Cagayan's Palaui Island and at the famous Callao Caves in the province.
The article further noted that "a sneak peek of the new season will be shown at the end of the Survivor: Blood vs. Water finale." The reality show previously featured Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur.
