Ramon Revilla Sr. may be included in DOJ’s pork barrel scam investigation
First it was Bong, now it’s his dad.
InterAksyon.com reports: "The ailing former senator Ramon Revilla Sr., 86, might be included in the Department of Justice (DOJ)’s investigation into the alleged multimillion-peso pork barrel racket following pork scam whistleblower Benhur Luy’s disclosure that Sen. Bong Revilla’s father also dealt with businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles."
On Thursday, January 23, DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima told reporters, "Pag-aaralan muna namin ’yan. Depende kung may sworn statement tungkol d’yan. I know that Benhur Luy or his counsel (Levito Baligod) already said something about that, na maski noong time ni former Sen. Ramon Revilla, Sr., he was also dealing with Napoles or Napoles NGOs (We will study that first. It depends on whether there is already a sworn statement about that. I know that Benhur Luy or his counsel already said something about that, that even during the time of Sen. Ramon Revilla, Sr., he was also dealing with Napoles or Napoles NGOs)."
