Japanese lingerie maker invents high-tech bra that only comes off when it detects "true love"
This may be taking things too far.
Renee Fopalan of GMA News Online reports that Japanese lingerie maker and retailer Ravijour has created a high-tech bra that supposedly can only be unhooked by "true love."
The report explained that the bra, which features a high-tech clasp up front, will only come off once the built-in sensor within the intimate garment detects excitement that makes the heart beat faster. An app, which is installed on the woman's phone, will then measure the data it receives via Bluetooth to calculate the change in heart rate. The bra's clasps will automatically come off if the rate exceeds a specific value.
Ravijour said it created the one of a kind lingerie, which it dubbed as a "true love tester" in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The company recently released a video containing a complete explanation of how the bra works.
